Oggi i nostri studenti hanno dato il via con successo al progetto di conversazione ITALenguUSA. L’iniziativa è nata dal desiderio di promuovere la conoscenza della lingua e cultura inglese/americana attraverso incontri settimanali durante i quali gli studenti possono praticare le due lingue, instaurare rapporti di amicizia e condividere interessi comuni fuori dai tradizionali spazi di apprendimento. A coppie, gli studenti si incontrano nelle stanze virtuali della piattaforma ZOOM e conversano su topic assegnati la settimana precedente, la prima mezz’ora in italiano, la seconda in inglese. Gli studenti apprendono e migliorano le loro capacità comunicative e svolgono alternativamente la funzione di tutor per correggersi e supportarsi nella pratica delle due lingue. We’re back with our school’s SPECIAL SUNDAYS

Today our students have successfully started the conversation project ITALengUSA. This initiative was born out of the desire to promote the knowledge of Italian and English/American language and culture through weekly online meetings during which the students can practise the two languages, make new friends and share common interests outside the traditional learning spaces. In pairs, the students meet in virtual rooms of the platform ZOOM and talk about specific topics, assigned the week before, in Italian for the first half hour and in English for the second half hour. The students involved learn and improve their speaking skills and alternately act as “tutors” to correct and support each other while practising the two languages.
